Welcome to the Solihull Choir Festival – a celebration of voices, harmony, and community spirit! Our festival brings together choirs from across the region to share the joy of singing, showcase incredible talent, and create unforgettable musical moments.

Whether you’re a seasoned choir member, a newcomer to group singing, or an enthusiastic audience member, the Solihull Choir Festival has something for everyone. Our event features a diverse mix of performances, workshops, and opportunities to connect with fellow music lovers in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.

Our mission is to inspire, unite, and uplift through the power of song. We believe that music has the unique ability to bring people together, foster creativity, and promote well-being. By providing a platform for choirs of all styles and abilities, we aim to celebrate the richness of music in Solihull.

Networking Event

As part of the festival, we’re hosting a special networking evening for choir leaders, sponsors, and volunteers.

The Courtyard Gallery at The Core Theatre
Saturday 28th June, 6 – 8pm
Food provided
Max. 3 places per choir – advance booking required

This informal gathering is a chance to meet fellow choir leaders, share ideas, build community, and inspire support over competition. We encourage you to come along, make connections, and celebrate the passion that brings us all together.

Anya Small

Founder & Festival Director

Anya has been professionally singing for over 30 years, gaining vast experience with function and tribute bands, including the Boogaloo Babes. Her passion is a live performance in a range of genres including pop, rock, jazz and musical theatre.  Anya holds a Diploma in Musical Theatre from the London College of Music. She is an experienced choral arranger and prides herself in enabling everyone to sing in her choirs regardless of experience or abilities. She has led choirs at Disneyland Paris, Carnegie Hall, and the 2022 Commonwealth Games.

She has been fortunate to herself perform at some of the top Midlands venues such as; The Birmingham Symphony Hall, Birmingham Repertory, Alexandra and Hippodrome Theatres and her biggest claim to fame is supporting Sister Sledge and Gloria Gaynor at the Burj Al Arab, Dubai!

Anya is the proud Creator and Director of Pop Voices and Singwell CIC, a not for profit organisation focused on providing singing activities to support health and well-being.  Anya’s ultimate goal is to unite and collaborate with other choirs and leaders who bring so much joy with singing to our communities.
